Doug Frohman's Studio My current series is about the interplay of wildness and control. The aim is to construct narratives that mirror the coherent visual logic found in nature while remaining whollly abstract. The pieces are painted with a trowel on wood panels to increase physicality while withstanding the slow, frequently brutal process of mark making.
