Evelyn A. Lauer

My essays, poems, and stories have appeared in Flash Fiction Magazine, Sentence, Denver Syntax, Huffington Post, Education Week, and elsewhere. I hold an M.F.A. in poetry writing from Texas State University where I co-founded the Porter House Review, formerly known as Front Porch Journal. I also have a B.A. in English and journalism and an M.A.T. in secondary English education from the University of Iowa.

In 2018, I co-published a book of photography and poetry called Skylined with Chicago photographer Laura Lopez. I am interested in collaboration with artists in other media.
