Stephanie Taiber is a Chicago based artist who uses photography and other media to explore inner tensions related to love and loss. Taiber received a BFA from the University of Arizona. Her work distills intimate experiences into abstract images and metaphors about the fragility of relationships, telling a larger story about life and human emotion.

Taiber’s first photobook, Bearing His Flowers, was published with Yoffy Press in 2023. Her solo exhibition at Filter Space in Chicago was supported by a generous Individual Artist’s Grant from Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
